How dreamy is this family session? Cute toddler, cute family, and a secluded field of wildflowers outside of DFW?? What more do you need for a perfect spring family photo?

Real quick — I want to start off with a client appreciation post: I’ve been lucky enough to shoot four sessions with this family. The first was when this little dude was just a newborn. These are some of the kindest, most considerate people I’ve met. Being chosen to document someone’s journey through life is the coolest thing. Thank you x100 to this family, and every other family who trusts me to capture their memories. I love telling your stories.

We decided to do something different for this session and found a field of wildflowers in the city. This is such a great little spot. While it didn’t have the traditional Texas bluebonnets that a lot of families are after, this big open field outside of Dallas had so many beautiful varieties of flowers in blues and violets that we really weren’t missing those bluebonnets at all! (Plus, it was much closer and we had it all to ourselves.)

I travel all over the metroplex, but I’m usually hanging around McKinney. I offer mini portrait sessions in the McKinney and Princeton area, and full sessions anywhere in Dallas-Fort Worth.

MCKINNEY FAMILY MINI SESSIONS

These are a super popular request! These half-hour mini sessions are great for families with small kiddos or looking to beat the Texas heat, while still coming home with some nice, update family photos. Mini sessions are offered in McKinney, TX from a list of beautiful locations to choose from. They’re great for families up to five people, and you’ll get the printing rights and gallery access to 10 edited images. Wildflower Minis will be held at a nearby location with limited spots, and announced yearly. Inquire in the spring to book your spot!

DFW WILDFLOWER FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSIONS

These full-hour portrait sessions are great for larger families who need a little more time and a few more photos. We’ll focus on getting some great group family photos, as well as individual families and headshots of every family member. You’ll get printing rights and gallery access for a minimum of 25 images with the option to purchase more through your gallery. These sessions can be held at any location in DFW, including this dreamy field of wildflowers during peak months!
