Dallas Arboretum Proposals

Kayla and Michael got engaged at the beautiful Dallas Arboretum. This is such a classic location that’s filled with endless photo opps. If you’re looking for a good place to propose in Dallas, you can’t go wrong with the Arboretum. When Kayla and Michael found me, we met for coffee to talk about wedding packages that had an engagement session. We picked out the perfect package for them, and decided to use their hour-long engagement session to officially become engaged. Michael and I set everything up, and managed to surprise Kayla one morning with a gorgeous proposal at Dallas Arboretum.

Coordinating a surprise proposal can be tricky. Usually, nerves are high and often the couple hasn’t met me before. This can stress the person proposing out making sure the photographer is in the right place before they pop the question, but not wanting to make it look obvious. If the couple has met me before, that can add challenges since they might recognize me and blow the surprise. These are all things we work out beforehand, so you can go into your proposal feeling confident. With your proposal, you’ll get help with locations, logistics, timing, and so much more. Engagements at the Arboretum

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions at the Dallas Arboretum is how many endless options you have. You can find so many gorgeous spots tucked away in greenery, around a flowery corner, and framed by the water. During the holidays, they have fun themed displays that are great for all sorts of portrait sessions. (The Fall display is my favorite!) Since florals and greenery can be hard to come by in Texas during the summer, I love suggesting proposals at Dallas Arboretum. It’s one of the only places where you can find gorgeous scenery year-round.
