Today we’re looking back on Caralyn and Nick’s gorgeous wedding day at the amazing Texas Discovery Gardens in Dallas. When they first reached out to me, I loved the colorful, playful theme they wanted to incorporate into their wedding day. Caralyn and her bridesmaids handmade so many of the details and florals you’ll see in this post, adding sentimental touches everywhere you look. They really wanted photos in the butterfly garden at the venue (which, same), and were using bright, vibrant colors to accent the greenhouse theme. I was all in, obviously.

Check out some behind the scenes from Caralyn’s first look with her wedding party over on Instagram! This is a great look at how I set up parts of your wedding day and capture certain moments in real time.

Dallas Wedding Photographers
Wedding packages come in all shapes and sizes. With nearly a hundred weddings under my belt, I’ve crafted these wedding photography packages to fit your day, no matter what you have planned. Coverage ranges from elopement, half day, to full day, with optional bundled engagement or bridal sessions. Wedding photography packages include a mix of digital and timeless 35mm film returned in a private online gallery to keep forever.

What’s the difference between packages?
Wedding days can range from half day (4-6 hours) to full day (8-10+ hours) depending on what you’re looking for. The biggest difference in these will be the coverage that you want to see. Do you want everything, from getting ready in the bridal suite to your sparkler exit? Then you’ll want to consider a full day package, somewhere starting around eight hours. If you’re looking for just milestone moments, like ceremony, family photos, and portraits, then a half day may be more your style.

Nick met her at the top of the aisle and they walked down together. (Peep Nick trying not to completely lose it.) This was a detail I totally loved! More of this!

This was one of my favorite venues ever! It’s so gorgeous, the vendor management team was awesome, and it’s such a unique place to tie the knot. I absolutely loved working to make Caralyn + Nick’s colorful, fun wedding vision come to life. If you’re looking for a vibrant outdoor Dallas wedding venue, I highly recommend checking out the Texas Discovery Gardens in Fair Park!

We snuck out to take some formal portraits in the butterfly garden before it closed. After snapping some gorgeous shots in this enclosed greenhouse, I sent them back to party their asses off with their friends.
