I’m so stoked to share some highlights of Jeniva & Brandon’s elopement! I have so much content I haven’t posted here because I tend to focus on getting galleries back to people over posting on my blog, or I’ll use the time to post on Instagram instead. I’m trying to get better at it and share more work on here, so get ready for some serious content over the next few months! (She says very optimistically 🤞🏻)
J + B found me on Facebook wanting to plan their elopement in DFW pretty quick. They wanted to get married in two weeks and needed an elopement photographer. I was super excited when I heard they were getting married at the Denton County Courthouse because I knew there would be some beautiful light in there. Once we got on the phone, I was even more excited to help them. They were a super laidback couple just looking to enjoy a special moment together – totally my kind of people!
They were essentially looking for a microwedding, they only wanted to include about 12 close family members at their intimate courthouse ceremony. We set up a timeline for their coverage starting with some time for family photos, then their ceremony, followed by a funky newlyweds session.

After some hugs and best wishes from family, we rolled into a fun couple’s session as newlyweds. I loved the silky wedding dress that Jeniva wore, it had such a timeless classic vibe to it, which was so much fun played up with the flashy sunglasses pics. Such a vibe!

J said during her consult call that she wanted a classic-but-fun feel to her photos, lots of black & white edits, and that she really liked this gallery that I did for Z + Z in McKinney this past spring. This helped me plan out the best way to shoot their day and see what sort of vibe they were going for. I’m all about reflecting your personalities and making this day the most fun for you. I was so ready to make their elopement dreams come true at the Denton County Courthouse. I loveee this spot for elopements in Dallas-Fort Worth; it’s got the classic courthouse wedding look and that gorgeous staircase inside. It’s a great backdrop for any courthouse elopement or microwedding.
