When Stephanie and Evan reached out to me about their colorful, garden-inspired wedding in Denton, TX – I was all over it. This is the kind of wedding that is exactly my style, and my absolute favorite to shoot. From the boutique venue, classic car newlywed portraits, chic details, and high-energy reception, this day had everything. They were planning from out of state, but wanted to get married in the town they met, so they were looking for their perfect Denton wedding photographer. Once I got their first email, I knew we were going to work together to make something gorgeous.

The venue had on-site lodging, so they both got ready in separate spaces. It was even dog friendly, so their pup came along too! (You’ll be seeing more of him at the reception, or you can check out his Instagram.) The light in the bridal suite was absolutely gorgeous as Stephanie got ready and I captured their details. The light in that cape was phenom.

Steph and Evan rented this sweet classic car for their newlywed photos. I LOVE when couples choose to do a first look and see each other before the ceremony. Not only does it free you up by doing more photos before the ceremony, but you have way more time for cool shit like this!
(PS how freaking gorgeous is this wedding dress??? The sleeves and cape are a dream.)
