When Jill + Matthew asked if I’d want to come with them on a pizza cruise in a gondola through hidden canals in DFW for their engagement session, it was an easy “hell yes!” 
This was such a fun session. We cruised around Mandalay Canals in Las Colinas in a private gondola, and we each got a personal pizza to enjoy!
Gondola Adventures Engagement Session
We went to Gondola Adventures Irving and booked their sunset pizza cruise. We each had our choice of personal pan pizza and we took a cute tour of the canals. Most people have no idea this is here! I like to think I’m pretty up on things to do in DFW but I hadn’t heard of this before! I love finding unique experiences like this to recommend around DFW. This would be an awesome date night in DFW – or proposal location – and was a dream for fall engagement photos. This was such a great option for a couple who wants to do split their engagement session between something fun and unique without compromising on the traditional, romantic shots. Matthew took the opportunity to formally propose to Jill with a little message in a bottle with a verse by Pablo Neruda. ❤️

Mandalay Canal Engagement Session
This session was SO COOL! After the gondola ride, we did a quick outfit change and found some cute spots around the canals for even more romantic photos. I absolutely loved shooting here, and there were SO many different options for photos. Walking down in the canals was super moody and romantic, and along the water we caught some colorful, sunny light. It was awesome!
I can’t wait for their wedding this spring!
