One of the most popular locations for mini sessions is definitely Erwin Park. This is a great spot for families of all sizes, with wide open fields made for those Pinterest-worthy golden hour photos. (Literally, this is one of the most popular spots in DFW for sunset field photos.) There’s lots of room to run around for when the kids need to burn some energy, and several fields to choose from for your photos.
Downtown McKinney Square
A fun, casual choice great for headshots, couples, or small family photos. Streets lined with shopfronts give off a small town feel. We can duck into a coffeeshop, sip a beer on a patio, or walk along the artsy alleyways. The Downtown McKinney Square has so many options, it’s always one of my favorites for mini sessions in McKinney!
Adriatica Village
Adriatica is such a romantic spot for mini sessions! The Tuscan-inspired buildings overlook a lake with a little canal running past a wedding chapel, giving us so many options for your photos. It’s a great place for a chic family photoshoot or couples mini session!
Towne Lake Park
A little hidden gem in McKinney. This park is your go-to if you’re looking for a forest setting in DFW. It has tall trees that open up into lush green fields. This spot is best in the early morning due to lighting and crowds, but is absolutely gorgeous for couples or maternity photos!
