Chris + Tori are engaged!
Chris had the perfect plan to surprise Tori with a romantic proposal – all he needed was a photographer. Not knowing where to go, like a lot of people out there, he turned to a Facebook group. Now, I usually talk a lot of smack about finding your photographer on Facebook because it’s so easy to find someone shady and never hear from them again. But luckily, I was online right when Chris posted, and we connected right away. I agreed to drop everything and head over to Fort Worth from my side of the metroplex that night, and went to meet Tori’s best friend at their house so I could hide behind their shed. 🙃

Which I did happily! I grabbed some shots of Tori’s brothers and bestie decorating her and Chris’s new home with rose petals and some cute marquee letters Chris had picked out. I dodged a few wasps, settled into a good spot behind the shed, and waited. After a few minutes I heard Chris lead Tori into the backyard and jumped into action.

After she said yes, we headed inside to celebrate with her friends and family, who had been watching through the window. I love these moments where everyone’s just excited and happy, together. Y’all know I love the candid photos.
