This is another one of those posts I’ve been sitting on for no good reason. I swear I have the biggest backlog of weddings and sessions I need to share on here. I’m off to a pretty good start for 2024 though, so let’s hope I can keep this up and give my work – and your wedding day – the visibility it deserves.

McKinney Wedding Photographer
Jill + Matt were one of those couples were things instantly clicked. It’s been almost a year since their Avalon Legacy Ranch wedding and gondola engagement, but I still think of them as one of the nicest, easiest couples to work with. They totally trusted me going into their engagement session, and that, combined with their fun suggestions, made their photos some of my favorites to this day. We all genuinely had a great time working together through their engagement and wedding day in McKinney, and it absolutely shows in their beautiful final gallery. The bright colors and floral touches they chose for their spring wedding absolutely spoke to their vibrant personalities.

After getting ready they exchanged gifts. Jill gifted him a spicy album which was a total surprise for Matt. Matt got her a thoughtful pair of earrings. Then we got Jill into her dress and lined up for the ceremony. I’m not gonna lie, this was one of those days where I’m really glad I make my own wedding day timeline as part of your wedding photography package. This helps us stay on track and plan for any bumps in the road, which sometimes really comes in clutch.

Avalon Legacy Ranch Weddings
One of my favorite parts of weddings at Avalon Legacy Ranch is the reception space. It’s so perfect for a romantic, backlit private last dance. Last dances are such a special part of the wedding day honestly. It’s so rare for you to have a true moment alone together in the middle of this big thing you spent the last year working on. I always try to snap my photos and give you at least half the dance to be alone together and enjoy those last moments.
