Hey, hey!

Today I’m sharing Kate & Justin’s engagement session in downtown Denton, TX. This was a seriously fun session – like, the bar I’m going to set all sessions with from now on. I absolutely love when a couple is down to let loose with me and be themselves. After getting to know them through their engagement and wedding day this past fall, I can now confidently say that this session was 100% Kate & Justin.

We started with the classic shots downtown, or at least tried since Justin is a total goofball, then headed back over to Miss Angeline’s for some actual shots in their natural habitat. We had the place to ourselves before opening and were able to use all of their beautiful space. We had Jameson and laughed a lot and got a bunch of photos. It was the best.

Your engagement session definitely doesn’t have to be boring! Opting for an alternative engagement session in one of your favorite places – like your favorite dive bar or restaurant – can be an amazing option for more natural photos. I also love incorporating little details, like Kate’s engagement ring with her beloved Topo Chico, that I know will make you happy looking back.
