Christmas Family Portraits in DFW
This year I got to take some family Christmas portraits for the Vasquez family. Victoria, the mama, was actually one of my good friends in middle school, all the way overseas in Kuwait! Isn’t that crazy? The world is so small.
I saw them last year for fall minis, but this was a full hour of shooting together in a big studio set up for Christmas photos. I was so excited to see them again, and was even more excited when we decided to book the Lumen Room in Fort Worth. I loved the big, open space and minimal modern holiday setup. It let us really focus on them instead of a busy background, and wasn’t as much tempting stuff laying around for the kids to get into in-between photos. Plus, it really accented their cute matching Christmas outfits! (Those red and green velvet suit jackets, though! 😍 We love to see it.)
